What permissions does Gilmo need?
To get started, Gilmo needs permission to read messages and create a dedicated manager channel. When you’re ready to enable enforcement, he’ll also need the permissions required for the actions you ask for (for example: deleting messages or banning users). Gilmo checks his own permissions and will tell you exactly what’s missing.
Will Gilmo delete messages instantly?
Yes—when enforcement is enabled and he has delete permissions, he can delete messages immediately based on your rules. If you keep Safe Mode on, he’ll only log what he would have done.
Can I control what it moderates?
Yes. Just tell Gilmo what to watch for and what to do. No keyword lists or regex required—and you can update your rules anytime.
Can I see what actions Gilmo took?
